Weaving a UTV through the woods of the Black River Falls State Forest is a great way to spend a day. Bear Bogging Adventure Tours wants everyone to have a great time but our first priority is to keep everyone safe. You agree to follow the rules and regulations established by the state of Wisconsin.

ATV and UTV operators born on or after Jan. 1, 1988 who are at least 12 years old for ATV(and at least 16 years old for UTV) must complete an ATV and UTV safety certification course in order to operate on public ATV/UTV trails and areas in Wisconsin.

  • What if the weather is bad?

    We offer Sensible Weather protection. Please see our cancellation policy

  • Do I need to Bring a Helmet or eye protection?

    If you have then bring them, or bear bogging will provide a helmet and goggles.

  • Can my furry friend come along?

    Yes pets are allowed

  • How old do you have to be to ride?

    Age is not a factor. Children must be at least 48’ tall to ride. Sorry “NO EXCEPTIONS"

  • Are car seats allowed?

    No they are not allowed

  • Do you need a safety class to operate our machines?

    Yes the state of Wisconsin requires you to have taken their course if you were born on or after Jan,1. 1988. This link can be found on our website under the safety link.

  • How old do you have to be to drive?

    You must be 18 and a licensed driver to drive our UTV’s and have completed a drivers safety course which can be found through the safety link on our website.

  • I'm under 18 years of age, can I rent?

    You must be 21 years of age and a licensed driver to rent.

  • What if I'm not back from my ride by the scheduled time?

    We will consider on a case by case situation but We will give you a 15 minute grace period then an hourly rate based on cost of booking.

  • Do these vehicles have a trunk for storage?

    There is storage for certain items in the back of the vehicle, we can provide bungee cords if needed.

  • What is the maximum speed limit?

    35 mph on all trails

  • Are there places to eat along the trails?

    Yes there are several places to eat. We will also have pins dropped on the GPS to help you locate them.

  • Are there hotels nearby?

    Yes please see our website under accommodations for our recommendations. Don’t forget to mention you booked with Bear Bogging to possibly receive a discounted rate.

  • Can I rent for multiple days?

    Yes. Go to bearbogging.com and hit the book now button.

  • Can I trailer the UTV?

    No. Polaris adventure does not allow the vehicles to be trailered to other locations.

  • Do you have 2 seat vehicles?

    No. All our vehicles have 4 seats.

  • How fast do they go?

    Our renters are required to obey all speed limits and the max speed limit on the trails is 35 MPH.

  • What if the weather is nice at the start of my ride, but turns bad halfway through?

    We do offer a weather protection plan, sensible weather, that will reimburse you if the weather changes and you have to cancel your ride. Please see cancellation policy. 

  • Do I have to put gas in the vehicle?

    Yes. All vehicles will start with a full tank of gas and must be returned with a full tank after your ride is complete. This excludes the hot lap tour. 

  • What do I do in the unlikely event of a breakdown?

    The key to the vehicle will have an emergency number to call.

  • Do you provide a map?

    No. All our vehicles are equipped with an onboard GPS system with a highlighted route.
